Public Hearing - November 9, 2023, Town Council Meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING  

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of The Town of New Market will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 9, 2023, 7:00 p.m., at Town Hall, 40 South Alley, New Market, MD, and to broadcast on Zoom allowing remote electronic participation at which time the Town Council will consider the approval of the application for a Rezoning to the Planned Development District (PDD) Floating Zone, and adoption of Ordinance 2023-10 England Woods. Rezoning, An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map. The Subject Property contains approximately 91.689 acres on the north side of Old National Pike/State Route #144/County Route #1317 that includes Frederick County Tax Assessment Map 0080 Parcel 0206 and Parcel 0009 which are 35.012 acres and 55.677 acres respectively, which are proposed to be rezoned from Residential (R-1) for Parcel 0206 and Economic Development Flex (EDF) for Parcel 0009 to Planned Development District (PDD).

All residents and interested parties shall be heard at said time and place. Copies of the proposed Ordinance 2023-10 is available for review on the Town website, www.townofnewmarket.org, or can be reviewed at Town Hall during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
